Gratefulness

While I am in school I am working as a nanny. Five days a week I go to my sister-in-laws and help her with her sweet little girls, a five year old (going on 18) and a set of two year old twins. They all say and do the most entertaining things and make me smile everyday. The twins right now are in to saying "EWW GUSTING" when they think something is gross, and "MMM LICOUS" when they think something is good. I have a twin on either side rolling their hands and poking me saying "Peeze chels...round and round!" Wanting me to sing the wheels on the bus for the 500th time today! To them all little kids are "Wook, toot baby" (look cute baby), birds are "cheeps", and cleaning up is "mean up". Everyday is a new adventure and I savor each moment with these special children. My favorite part is that the twins have gotten really good at saying thank-you for everything! Even when you put them to bed at night they tell you thank you! It makes me stop and think about how their lives depend on other people for thier survivial, and how they are grateful for each thing you do. I hope that I can make myself more childlike like them and be as grateful for each and everything in my own life.
