My husband and I are expecting a new baby this summer...Yes, a new baby is different from an old one ;) It is our first child and they tell us that it is a girl! I am sure hoping it is a girl, because if she comes out as a he, he'll have to wear some pretty girly clothes for a couple days until I can get some new ones, and also be okay sleeping in a purple nursery, maybe I should have gone more neutral! I am so excited to be able to hold her and kiss her little hands, face, feet, tummy and especially the top of her head where babies smell the best!
My complaints about pregnancy so far would be, that it is hard to sleep...but I feel that I need to all the time! Frequent need to pee...though it seems I never can! And the want to do my normal things like pick up my sweet nieces and garden and clean but can't because it either hurts or I am too tired. Other than that I am really enjoying the process of pregnancy!
My favorite things about pregnancy so far would be, when she gets the hiccups, feeling her move and squirm around when her daddy talks to her, answering all the cute questions from my nieces about how the baby is forming and what she is doing. One of my favorite questions so far was from my niece Z-girl... She asked, "So, does the baby just walk around all day in there or are there other things for her to do! And what about her hair and clothes, who changes her and does her hair every day!?"
